Finding out you have magical abilities you never knew you had before can be pretty jarring. Finding out you have magical abilities the day after nearly all the world disappears around you is even more so.
Eddie Munson is a druid. His talents lie in his ability to affect nature and the elements around him. His abilities come from his mother's side of the family, who unfortunately died when he was young and before she could tell him about his bloodline, and the gifts that come along with it. After his father turned his back on him, he went to live with his paternal uncle, Wayne, who did most of the parenting from then on out.
Without any hope of finding out how to control his abilities, Eddie's magic is unpredictable. Some might even call it wild magic.
Perhaps all he needs is time to learn how to control this magic. Or maybe Eddie is doomed to wield chaotic magic for the rest of his life.
Which, as it turns out, might not be as long as he had originally hoped.
