      Disposition:
NON-CONFORMIST: It's a small town in the middle of 1986, so pretty much anything that's not being a straight-laced teenager who follows the rules, listens to pop music, and shows up to pep rallies is going to be looked at as trouble. Eddie is the whole package, preferring to listen to metal, wear his hair long, and play Dungeons & Dragons just as the whole satanic panic movement began to take flight. He prefers to be a rebel than follow any conventional rules, because where's the fun in that?

The one drawback to being the weird kid with the weird tastes is that as soon as everything bad started to happen, Eddie was blamed (although it probably didn't help that the murders started at his trailer). That didn't stop him, and he never once backed down even when it was looking like he might be caught.

PASSIONATE: Don't let his appearance fool you, as Eddie has a lot that he is passionate about. He puts everything into his Dungeons & Dragons campaign, coming up with detailed notes for when he DM's, and even does a few different voices for NPC's. On top of that, Eddie plays a guitar and has his own band called Corroded Coffin, which he writes the lyrics for and happily lends supporting vocals and lead guitar.

When talking about a subject he loves, Eddie tends to gesticulate wildly, which sometimes ends with him smacking another person by accident, forgetting that there is such a thing as personal space. He is also very animated as he talks, not afraid of looking a bit dramatic to get his points across.

EVASIVE: Considering Eddie witnessed not one, but two deaths by Vecna, it's understandable then that he might have developed a traumatic response as a result. Throughout his journey he would run from every conflict - he ran after Chrissy, he ran after Patrick, he began to think that was all he was good at. It wasn't until he fully teamed up with Steve Harrington and the rest of the Party that he began to realize that there was no point in running, because no matter where he ran, Vecna would come for them all.

He doesn't believe himself to be hero material, what with his tendency to run with his tail between his legs. However, he still found a way to pitch in by being a support during their final confrontation, offering a little bardic distraction by playing the most metal concert ever in the Upside Down.

MUDDLE-HEADED: It's not that Eddie's unintelligent, in fact he displays a love for reading and writing with his references to Lord of the Rings and ability to come up with a killer campaign for Dungeons & Dragons. But he fails to apply himself in school, struggling to the point where he has been held back twice from being able to graduate high school.

Some of this can be attributed to his difficult home life, having only recently been taken in by his uncle, but it's like he loses the ability to focus as soon as he sits down and study. Yet get him to sit down and focus on something he enjoys and he can knock it out in an hour. He wants to do well in school, he really does, but that drive to succeed has long since gone after everyone except for his uncle Wayne has seemingly given up on him.

Suitability: Eddie should be able to adjust rather easily. The main drawback will be the trauma he has experienced at witnessing his classmates brutally murdered before his very eyes. But as far as Synchrony goes? Eddie has a tendency to freely offer himself up to whoever will take him in, and doesn't shy away from intimate touch, whether it be encroaching on someone's personal space or casual sex. Manna will be a new concept to him, though it might come naturally now that he has been exposed to the possibility that somewhere out there is a teenage girl with superpowers and there are creatures in an alternate dimension that feel kind of ripped right out of his D&D campaign. The monster transformations might give him a bit of PTSD, especially seeing other people transforming. His own transformation though? Depending on the form he might just think it's kind of badass.

Condition upon arrival: In perfectly good health, just a few scratches from a previous fight with the demobats. Mentally, he might be slightly unstable from all of the trauma he has endured, but ultimately he would be cooperative.

Abilities: As a normal human, Eddie isn't capable of anything supernatural. His talents are fairly average, but he has demonstrated that he is proficient at coming up with stories as a Dungeon Master for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. He also has a band called Corroded Coffin, which he plays guitar in. Considering that Master of Puppets would have only been out for a week before Eddie plays it in the Upside Down, he clearly has a knack for figuring out how to play songs on the guitar merely by ear. Also of note, he displayed a knack for hotwiring when he was able to hotwire an RV, a skill he says comes from his father.
